A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

Attendees, presenters, volunteers, and vendors:

We have been hard at work preparing for the upcoming Roaring 20’s themed convention, which we will be held April 8th-10th at the Marriott - Las Colinas. Shameika Winfrey and the convention committee have dedicated a lot of time and energy to ensure this convention is one to remember! 

We have a great lineup of educational workshops including topics on leadership, IHC, RCRA/DOT training; just to name a few.  We will also have other events throughout the weekend. The Vendor Showcase will be held on Friday from 6:30-8:30pm, the President’s Membership Breakfast (open to all attendees) Saturday morning from 8:00-10:00am, and the Vendor Social & Awards Presentation from 6:30-8:30pm on Saturday.

The annual convention also provides a venue for networking and building connections with other technicians, laboratorians, and vendors.  This is an important part of our profession & often leads to lifelong friendships. Our fantastic vendors will also be out in full force to show off all the latest and greatest instruments, consumables, lab furniture, and many other items that make our jobs easier, safer, and more efficient. As always, we are very appreciative of the generosity they show to our society year after year.
